More about Mark:

Mark is currently the Chief Executive Officer at the Youngstown Area Goodwill serving Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Mark took on the position after 3 successful years with Goodwill of Southern California where he was part of the executive team who helped move the business into the black creating jobs and programs for people with barriers to employment.

Previously Mark was the Director of Loss Prevention and Safety for the Schurman Retail Group (SRG). SRG founded in 1950, a premier stationery and social expression retailer based out of Fairfield, CA. In early 2009 Schurman Retail Group purchased the American Greetings Carlton Cards retail division. Mark hired and directed teams throughout North America, and the United Kingdom overseeing over 800 retail locations.

During the time of the acquisition by Schurman Retail Group in 2009 Mark was the Director of Loss Prevention & Safety for American Greetings / Carlton Cards Retail Division. Mark saw an opportunity to carry the success of his Loss Prevention program to SRG, because at that time SRG outsourced their Loss Prevention needs. Mark pitched his program to the CEO, CFO, and VP of Human Resources where they saw a benefit of having an in house Loss Prevention & Safety Department.

The loss prevention, safety, audit, and inventory management programs Mark implemented within Goodwill of Southern California and the Schurman Retail Group continue to thrive today and prove to be an integral part of the businesses where they are targeting risk along with assisting in increasing sales.
