Amanda Paynter, Goodwill’s Operations Administration Intern, explains her role this summer and how a collaboration between the Raymond John Wean Foundation and Youngstown State University’s Center for Nonprofit Leadership helped get Goodwill this amazing worker. Mission Moment: Andrew’s Story

By the time he was eight years old, Andrew Lawler had lived in five foster homes before being adopted. Always with the dream of attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and being an actor, Andrew struggled in school, eventually dropping out and finding himself living at the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley when he was nineteen years old.
