Junior Group of Auction & Jewelry Sale Tickets Now Available

The Annual Junior Group of Goodwill Antique and Collectible Auction has changed to The Junior Group of Goodwill Auction & Jewelry Sale with the elimination of the Saturday portion of the event, however the Friday event will remain the same. Major Change Announced for The Annual Junior Group of Goodwill Auction

The annual Junior Group of Goodwill has decided to make a major change to the annual auction. On the first Friday and Saturday in March the Junior Group has held a two-day auction at Stambaugh Auditorium. The Friday evening event consists of a live auction of new items, silent auction, Chinese auction, basket raffle, jewelry sale and more, while the Saturday event was a standard auction of collectibles and antiques that were collected through Goodwill.

Youngstown Area Goodwill Executive Director Announces Retirement

Michael W. McBride, executive director of Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries, is retiring after 38 years with the agency, 34 as the director. McBride’s retirement date is set for March 1, 2017, with the possibility of earlier if a successor is found. “I have chosen to retire because it is time. I will always love Goodwill, our employees, our staff, our board and the people we provide services to every day, but it is time.

Another Successful Auction for the Junior Group
