The Sheltered Employment Senior Program Manager is responsible for maintaining a Work Adjustment and Sheltered Employment caseload. He/she is also responsible for assisting individuals develop or re-establish skills, attitudes, personal characteristics, work behaviors, work tolerance, etc. to achieve positive employment outcomes or enter higher level programming. The Sheltered Employment Senior Program Manager works with the Placement Department/Homeless Outreach Worker. This employee works primarily with sheltered employees and TCDJFS, BVR, BSVI, CDA, homeless and other Work Adjustment referrals. The Sheltered Employment Senior Program Manager is located in the Rehabilitation Department at the Main Office and reports to and is supervised by the Director of Rehabilitation.
A. Maintain a caseload of Work Adjustment clients and Sheltered Employees. Based on the individual needs of the person in work adjustment, provide services that address attendance, punctuality, and grooming, job seeking skills; work quality and quantity, work related community skills such as time management, mobility, and money management; work practices; reasonable accommodations and assistive technology; provide counseling regarding other barriers to employment.
B. Closely utilize vocational evaluation report and recommendations and have good knowledge of other referral information in order to write individual rehabilitation plan effectively with the participant.
C. Assign individual to work station reflecting identified objectives, make behavioral observations and provide work techniques training. Access information from supervisors about individualized progress and movement toward desired results; make referrals to auxiliary services as needed and requested by individual. Monitor progress closely.
D. Schedule and conduct midpoint and exit staffings with individual and referring counselor. Attend team staffings, facilitate staffing and document.

E. Responsible for documenting daily Work Adjustment attendance. Complete Work Adjustment timecard calculation and turn in according to schedule.
F. Responsible for written daily notes on clients, monthly reports, final reports, team and exit staffing documentation, and other required paper work according to time deadlines. Learn BVR report templates.
G. Assists Placement Specialist with job leads, providing information to Job Club and BAC Meetings as requested.
H. Attend evaluation exit staffings, schedule intakes, schedule start dates and conduct work adjustment intake, orientation and/or tour.
I. Oversee participants on caseload in Community Work Adjustment Program. Refer individuals from Work Adjustment and Community Work Adjustment to Placement or other appropriate service.
J. May assist in Skill Building or Assessment at Trumbull County site as directed.
K. Attend rehabilitation and CARF file review committee meetings, as scheduled. Prepare for CARF review and update procedures under guidance of Rehabilitation Director.
L. Maintain records for Outcome Management, complete forms and update program procedures with Rehabilitation Director and submit required
information on a monthly basis. Have clients and sheltered employees complete satisfaction forms at designated times. Submit demographic numbers to Administrative Assistant.
M. Annually, review the Corporate Responsibility Policy to ensure program compliance. Make suggestions for revisions, additions, etc.
N. Other responsibilities as assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
O. Bachelors Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Psychology, Social Services area or Vocational related field and CRC eligibility preferred. Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and CRC or LSW eligibility preferred. Experience in area of vocational rehabilitation.
